RUNRIO Thailand. was founded by its President Rio de la Cruz, a UP Diliman alumnus, elite & celebrity runner, international marathoner and a sought after running coach. Rio started the business in 2007 under the company Entraineur Events & Sports Management, to support his vision to grow and sustain running.

With growth of the running community, runners were clamoring for more than just a well-planned route. This led the team to invest in innovations that would eventually raise the bar in organized sporting events in the country. Since then, RUNRIO has organized majority of the premier races in the Philippines such as RUNRIO TRILOGY, MILO MARATHON, CONDURA MARATHON and many more.

As a result, the advertising value and brand building capability of the company were recognized locally and abroad.
